First Day of School!

Tyler was so excited to head off to first grade today. I cannot decide whether to jump for joy or cry?!?! I will miss him each day, but the quiet and lack of arguing between him and Thea will be a welcome relief. He was dressed and ready to go by 7:15 - backpack on also! Tyler kept saying how excited he was to go to his first day of First Grade. You could tell he was looking forward to seeing his friends, meet his new teacher, and just get going with it all! He is such a smart kid. His mind and thought process amazes us. You never know when you will be shocked with the insightful comments or off the wall questions he comes up with. It will be exciting to see how his interests change and in what direction they will go this year. While in his classroom this morning Brad and I noticed that Tyler was greeted so enthusiastically by many of his classmates. Both boys and girls ran up to him to give him a hug or greeting of some sort. It is obvious that he is liked by all the kids in his class.
