We went to Disneyland for the Halloween festivities. We just love it there. I figure there is a limited time for the kids to be enthralled with the magic, so I want to live it up. Soon they will want to be there with their friends and go off on their own. So for now we are being greedy parents. LOL! Our October trip we went with our closet friends.
I was jealous of the fun my kids were having with THEIR friends. But Tyler made it all better when he said that sometimes he likes it better with just our family. Sounds good too me. His motive is that he gets to do what he wants when he wants and not have to take turns with the other kids on choosing rides. But for me it was music to my ears and translated to: "I only want to be with my family when in the magical place on earth." This trip continued to be about the characters for Thea. Owever this time she reached the 40 inch marker and was able to go on many more rides. Not that she wanted too. But it was really cute to see her get excited for those she was able to go on! But for Tyler... it was all about the big rides. It was good that he had his buddy Kyle there because they urged each other on the more thrilling rides. Tyler did stand his ground on the Tower of Terror. He still has NO desire or even remote interest to step foot near that ride! No matter how much peer pressure from adults and friends he got!
