Tyler's class took a field trip to the zoo. Being that it is a favorite place of Thea, AND they needed chaperone's. I volunteered. Grades 1-4 plus a stroller. Yikes. Actually it was great. the kids were well behaved, the ratio was about 3-1 in chaperone's. Tyler took the camera for the trip so there are lots of pictures of animals, dirt, signs, and other random things to interest a 7 year old. Tyler's interest is hard to keep at the zoo, once he has viewed the animal, he is ready to go. Not wait for a large group to wander onto the next. Having said that we ended up leaving the zoo early. No because we saw all the animals but because Tyler, in order to keep himself entertained got in a tangle with an umbrella, the bar holding it in place, and his hand. We left early to hit urgent care.... on Halloween..... for stitches!
