Nine years old. Where has the time gone? We went easy this year for Tyler's birthday and had the Game Truck again. Its great, they drive up, load the kids in for two hours we throw pizza and cake at them, then the party drives off. Yeah! Tyler and all his friends had a great time. Its amazing how much ice cream, cake, and pizza these boys now consume! Presents were different this year. Lots of gift cards. Which is great, because Ty can get exactly what he wants combine them and its easier than tracking down all those little action figures, or Lego pieces.
It certainly has gone by. All those every 2 hour feedings in the middle of the night. Chasing the busiest little 'bulldozer' around the neighborhood. Rock-a-baby for houses in the rocking chair. Binkies, binkies, binkies. Now were are onto Baseball, basketball, football. Quickly approaching the day for him to test for his Jr Black belt. Scouts, friends, music, piano. He bore his testimony in church for the first time yesterday. Not the scripted - rote type. But his own words, from the heart. A grandmother in the ward commented to Brad that he was ready to go on his mission NOW! My sweet baby boy. My heart explodes for all that you are, all that you bring to our lives, and all you are to become. I love you Tyler. Happy Birthday!
