Kauai, Hawaii June

Brad and I were able to get away for a work conference that was in Hawaii. First stop was to Kona where Brad had to work for three days (only until about 1pm though)! What's a mommy to do without her kids? RELAX!! Then we took three days together and went to Kauai. We've had a chance to visit all but one of the islands, and we left loving Kauai the most! We missed the kids, but they were on their own vacations with friends also. Thanks to two wonderful girlfriends who kept our kids healthy, happy, and safe! While in Kauai we did some very fun activities. A Kayak and hike to a waterfall. Helicopter tour of the island. Which was incredibly beautiful. It was an open-air helicopter. So there were NO DOORS. The anticipation was scarier than the actual ride. But is was very cold! We also did a beginners scuba dive. This was incredible. Brad has wanted to learn for a long time now. But I have been to much of a chicken. But thanks honey for pushing me, it was great!! We had our own 45 minute instruction, then went about 20 feet down for an hour! It was a great experience, and now we are ready to really get certified. Here are a few pictures of the trip.
