
Well, it was much more fun building the car then actually racing it. Our ward consists of engineers ….so it was tough competition. Out of 14 races Tyler placed 2 in one and third in another. Dead last in all the rest. This was a HUGE amount of humble pie that our little guy DID NOT swallow very well. He was so mad, ticked, embarrassed. It was horrible to watch, I shed a few tears myself at his frustration. Not to mention he is super stubborn and was ready to leave after the 5th or 6th race. He had graphite tears smeared all over his hands, face, and anything he touches. By the way that stuff is HARD to get off, especially the eye area. It will be interesting to see if he decided to participate next year.
